Nectarine has a long relationship designing all matter of things for Vicki and her flagship brand, Taylor. So when Vicki turned her attention to sharing her unique perspective with a growing international clientele through her new brand Symetria, we were more than excited to be asked to take it on.
Designed for the modern creative, the Symetria line takes inspiration from new geometric, linear and textural combinations. The logo translates these ideals with strong typography that has been deconstructed with notches that subtly depict the notches of a sewing pattern.
The same notches were applied to a block logo icon reminiscent of a bold capital S, with the icon’s shape also reflecting in the square composition of type. The contrast between thick and thin within this entire logo gives a sense of balance.
