Happy Sheep box

We've finished the design on Happy Sheep and it's off to the printers for final samples!

Bek and I are very excited about this game; not only does it look fantastic and play hilariously, we're so keen on it that we're investing in the production rather than just doing graphics.

We've uploaded the box imagery and rules if you'd like a sneak peek.

Happy Sheep's a fast, fun game of memory, deduction and bluffing. It's a fabulous family game, but it's also got enough calculation and deception to make it a great light filler for serious gamers.

For 2-4 players and aimed at 6 to adult, it also comes with rules for a very basic game for 3 and ups.

Hi, this game looks fun and just what my sister Liz should be looking for, for her 3 nephews. I have recently introduced her to eurogames whilst in the UK and now she is hooked but not sure where to start. A lot of the games we were playing would be too hard for youngsters but this look perfect. When will it be released and will it be for sale in either Queenstown or Alexander?

Hope it goes well for you

      Hi Helen,

Happy Sheep, when it's released, should be available in independent games stores, and probably in chains like Whitcoulls and Take Note. Unfortunately, it's had to go on the back-burner for the moment while we focused on our Rugby World Cup game "Five Men Standing". If you get in touch via the Contact tab with the ages of the nephews, I'd be more than happy to recommend some games for them. I play *many* different games (both ours and from around the world) with kids of all ages- I'm sure I could suggest something that'd be a hit.

      Cheers,
      Minty

I am Helen's sister and keen to look at Happy Sheep when in the shops. Games are a bit limited for this region and I have yet to know of any game players in Alexandra/Clyde/Roxburgh/Cromwell. Suppose there are some in Queenstown but that is a quite a distance for weekly or fortnightly meetings for me. I used websites to purchase but is new as yet. I'll watch this site.

      Hi Liz,

      Lovely to hear from you!

I've emailed you a big reply: regardless of whether it's our games or many of the fabulous ones out there, I think board and card games are just brilliant for family fun, so I'm happy to do whatever I can do to make sure it's a great introduction for you and yours.

And I'll be sure to let you know when Happy Sheep's out!

      Cheers,
      Minty
