Number 29 is award winning extra virgin olive oil, made in New Zealand on Waiheke Island by Prue and Grahame Taylor. They asked for a website that would tell the story of their amazing oil, from the gorgeous Waiheke location and modern premises, to their award winning packaging design and stockists. Nectarine used Squarespace to create a stylish minimalist website that is easily updatable by Number 29.
Following the successful design of the FDH logo a few years back, Farah asked Nectarine to do a make-over on her website. After talking to her marketing specialist who thought that her video-based homepage wasn't working very well for new visitors to her site, Farah decided to revamp. Nectarine helped Farah with a solution to the problem and designed and created two home pages. One for non-members and one for members. The default non-members page has access to information including the FDH Blog, about Farah [...]
Nectarine designed five large scale panels for an installation for the Bowen Hospital in 2011-12. Recently the Bowen Hospital decided to add a sixth panel to the installation depicting the new Bowen Centre which includes a theatre suite completed in 2012. We worked with specialist architectural photographer Jason Mann who took some fabulous up-to-date photographs of the hospital including the new Centre. The panels feature a collage of photographs sourced from libraries around the country and a timeline along the bottom. The sixth panel created [...]

GAME DRIVE: Race your fellow conservationists from Camp to each of the wildlife reserves. In those reserves, complete Game Drives with Animal Photo and Tracker cards, and use Rangers to protect the Big Five. Along the way, look out for flash floods and elephant charges, and be warned – there are Poachers out there! It’s just like being there – but without the mosquitos! Game Drive creators Mark Jennings and Andrea Crompton first thought of the idea for a conservation game while sitting in the back of a safari truck in the Makalali Reserve, South Africa, in 2008, where they were working as volunteers. They came to us with partially designed game in 2011 that needed some TLC and rules-polish to bring it to life. […]
David and Margaret Allis of Edugames came to us with a box re-design job for their award-winning game Time Zone. The original box was starting to look a bit dated: […]
Janet Green is a Masterton based ceramic artist. She creates exotic objects with beautiful curves and textures. Janet needed a website to showcase the work she has carefully archived from 1979 until now. We kept the interface simple so it wouldn't fight with Janet's fine, light work. The site is also a place for Janet to post her news and show what she is currently working on. It made sense to use a blog page that she can update herself. No pressure Janet! Watch this [...]
Balloons over Wairarapa is fantastic this year, the weather has been perfect. We were woken this morning by the sound of the gas burners as the balloons flew over Carterton. Last night we went to the amazing 'Night Burn'. Loads of bands and people eating, drinking, playing on bouncy castles and watching the beautiful balloons fire up in unison with the music.
Went to the Masterton Aerodrome this morning to see the balloons take off for the start of Balloons over Wairarapa. It was a gorgeous morning, still and sunny. We picnicked on bacon and egg sandwiches and hot chocolate while balloons all around us were firing up and lifting off. Worth getting up early for! Last night's burner parade up the main street was great too. http://www.nzballoons.co.nz/
